This beautiful authentic country house is located in the hills of Parco Nazionale della Majella. From the surrounding garden you can see the medieval villages of Abbateggio and San Valentino. Abbateggio is one of the Borgi Piu Belli d'Italia . The house dates from the nineteenth century and thanks to a thorough renovation, which has not affected the characteristics of the house, a beautiful country house has been created with its own wood oven and garden around it. This accommodation has two houses, making it an ideal family home with lots of privacy. Both houses are furnished with great taste and can accommodate a total of 14 people. You can therefore also rent the entire country house and stay there with family or friends.

Layout ground floor apartment:
Lovely seat in the morning sun on the terrace by the wood oven. Fully equipped kitchen with gas oven and dishwasher. From the kitchen a small step to the cozy dining area. In the living room a beautiful fireplace. Bathroom with toilet, sink, washing machine, shower and bidet. Three bedrooms. Due to the thick antique stone walls, the house stays nice and cool in the summer months.
Layout upstairs apartment:
Nice seat in the morning sun at the front door. Open kitchen with large gas stove with gas oven and dining area with fireplace. Bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, washing machine and bidet. Large living room with a sofa bed and large fireplace. Three bedrooms. The house is spacious and has a beautiful view from all rooms. In the distance you can see Gran Sasso, which turns a beautiful pink in the evenings, breathtakingly beautiful.

This delightful B&B is located on the northwestern slope of the Majella Park, near Abbateggio, a small and charming town close to Roccamorice and Caramanico Terme. The B&B has only recently opened and the guests are very enthusiastic. The fruit of a thorough renovation, with great attention to detail, of a farm from the early 20th century. The B&B has 12 beds in total, all rooms are double rooms with a bathroom, one of which has no architectural obstacles and is therefore wheelchair accessible.
There is also an apartment with two rooms and a kitchenette on the ground floor. All rooms (with the exception of the suite on the second floor) have their own entrance and a private outdoor area with table, chairs and umbrella. On the second floor, there is a great suite with a beautiful view! The suite is 32 square meters spacious, a double bed and a sofa bed make this suite ideal for families with small children, or for 4 adults in transit.
Every morning, Donatella serves its guests an extensive breakfast with local products and homemade cakes and treats, on the terrace or in the cozy common room. On request she will be happy to organize an aperitivo on the terrace to let you enjoy the view and the sunset over the Gran Sasso. At only 5 km from the farm there are several restaurants where you can enjoy various local products and delicious Abruzzese cuisine.
The B&B Sasso & Maya is diagonally opposite Casa Vacanze La Torre, so if you want to come with a group, nessun problema!
